1 - Special Service: Quality Control on your Compound Library

Specs has developed an extensive knowledge and experience in High Throughput Quality Control (QC) for compound libraries. This experience is continuously used to analyze all incoming compounds at Specs by LC-MS and H-NMR. Moreover, these QC data are accessible at Specs.net.

Specs now offers its QC operation to the industry. In case you have a compound library and doubts about its quality, we can offer to visit your site, weigh out the necessary amount per compound, run the QC operation on our site and send all the data back to you.

To know more about the possibilities offered by our QC department, do not hesitate to
contact us.

3 - Questions & Answers

In this section some frequently asked questions including our answer or recommendation will be highlighted.
  • "Have the compounds been checked for purity and structure confirmation?"
All of the compounds in the Specs database have been subjected to both LC/MS and H-NMR measurements. Once the structure and purity are confirmed (Screening compounds >90%, Building blocks >95%, Natural products >80%), this information becomes visible in our library. All quality control data and spectra related to our compounds can be accessed for free directly on-line. For larger compound purchases the data can also be provided in an electronic file.
  • "Can the compounds be plated in various formats and plates?"
Specs can provide compounds in a variety of plates and formats at the request of the customer. Furthermore, compounds can be provided in either a mg quantity or in a molar quantity.
Do you want to know more about this subject or do you have a different question? Feel free to contact us at info@specs.net.
