The Specs Research Laboratory welcomes Vincent de Vries as a new intern from the Hogeschool Leiden. Vincent will be working on the MepAnti-project, tackling the antimicrobial resistance problem by targeting enzymes of the MEP pathway, together with PhD-candidate Maria Braun Cornejo.  Together they will focus on the design and synthesis of inhibitors that permeate the gram negative bacteria’s double membrane.  We hope you will have an exciting time.
