In December 2020, Maria Braun Cornejo started her PhD position at the Specs Research Laboratory on the MepAnti-project, tackling the antimicrobial resistance problem by targeting enzymes of the MEP pathway. Maria is one of the 12 PhD students in an interdisciplinary consortium of 11 academic and 6 non-academic partners funded by a Marie Curie fellowship.
